Travelling to Toledo is relatively easy.
After you arrived at Madrid airport (MAD) you take the metro to Antocha Renfe station. The fare is about 1 €. You will have to change lines several times to get there. Please have a look at the Madrid Metro map. As you will see there are several ways to get to the station. It will take about a hour or so.
Once you arrived at Antocha Renfe station you can take the high speed train to Toledo. Travel time is 30 minutes. Fare is 8,30 €. Please have a look at train schedule.
In other words, for less then 10 € you travel from Madrid airport to Toledo train station. Best of all: there is no need to make any reservations in advance. Just use the Metro map we provided and make a print of the train schedule.
You could walk 1200 metres to the hotel or you just take a taxi after your long trip. The place you will stay is the Carlos V.
